CHERRY ALMOND Cake
Who does't love cherries? We loaded up this almond based cake with a generous amount of fresh sweet cherries, topped with sliced almonds and dusting of icing sugar. Baked and served in a 6" x 8" pan, it is portable and a convenient addition to a potluck gathering.
This cake is best eaten right away, but it can be refrigerated and enjoyed within 3 days, or can be frozen and thawed when needed within two weeks.
